Sales Managers - Very Financially Rewarding Career Opportunity
"A rare chance for established Sales Executives to join a successful asset finance business and develop their sales management skills to the next level".
Base Salary £35-50000 (DOE) OTE £85-150,000 Fantastic Benefits
East Midlands
Commutable from: Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Olney, Newport Pagnell, Towcester, Daventry, Buckingham, Brackley, Corby, Milton Keynes, Luton, Bedford, Higham Ferrers
Are you a Sales professional at the top of your game?
Maybe you've left college or university, taken a job in sales and reached a high level of achievement in your industry.
Life is good. You're earning decent money.
But perhaps you're wondering what's next? Have you reached a ceiling but have the ambition and drive to go further?
Our client is looking for someone like you. They work in the commercial finance industry and want a rising star to develop into a superstar through their fast-track sales management programme.
You'll be working alongside the Managing Director, Operations Director, and Sales Director, who will all give you first-hand training of their business to help you develop into a Sales Manager in 18 months. As part of that training, our client will support and pay for you to obtain your LIBF Diploma in Asset Finance (DipAF), if you wish.
Currently, you may be working in a role such as prestige car sales, high-end property sales, or capital equipment, or other B2B or B2C sales and you'll have learned the art of consultative selling. You'll have developed your communication skills to work with companies of all shapes and sizes. And that variety is one of the key features of this role. For example, you could go from talking to a small wine-bar owner about finance for new fridges to the FD of a £10m business wanting finance to purchase a fleet of commercial vehicles.
Your day-to-day role will combine generating new business from warm leads, which you'll aim to convert into long-term accounts for you to manage. Getting to know your clients' businesses will be critical to your success as you'll be able to identify further opportunities to provide financial solutions to help them grow and thrive.
Our client's industry works at a fast pace, and you will have multiple deals in progress at any one time (perhaps 30-40), which can go from initial contact to funds in the bank in a matter of days. As such, you'll be able to flex your time-management muscles and enjoy your sales commission being paid shortly after the client is onboard.
As you rise through the business, you'll then mentor, train and lead other sales executives to bring through the next generation of brokers in the business. And to top it all you will also benefit from an override commission on earnings generated by the team, as well as many other market-leading benefits.

Account Executive- Graduate Trainee Sales/Account Management Role
“Kick-start your career with one of the UK’s leading asset finance companies and develop your skills and experience through their structured training programme.”
Salary c£24-36000 + Benefits including guaranteed bonus in first 12 months (OTE £60-80000 on completion of graduate training scheme)
Northamptonshire, East Midlands, UK
Are you a recent graduate in a business studies or humanities discipline? Having graduated with a minimum 2:1 classification, you may have fallen into your current role and are enjoying the world of work.
But is it fulfilling? Can you see a clear route through to a senior level in your current business? Is your current company supporting your career development with a highly structured training programme?
That’s what you’ll receive from our client in one of their graduate trainee positions as an Account Executive. You’ll work alongside the Commercial Director and Sales Director, who will mentor you through your initial 12–16-week training programme. Plus you will receive a guaranteed monthly bonus on top of your base salary for the first 12 months.
During that time, you’ll learn about commercial asset finance, the financial products our client offers, how to nurture sales opportunities from a lead through to a closed deal, then manage that client account for the long-term.
As such, your training will focus heavily on warm-calling existing previous or current clients to develop your confidence and ability in creating sales. However, this isn’t a telesales type of role where you have a product to push onto a prospective customer. Instead, it’s a consultative sale where you have to understand how the prospect’s business operates then select the most appropriate financial solutions.
Having developed that initial enquiry, you’ll then pass ownership of the deal to an Sales/Account Manager but work closely with them to learn the process of completing the sale.
Our client’s ambition for you is to complete your training then start creating and managing your own deals, progressing to Sales/Account Manager level, where you will then earn a generous commission on top of your base salary.
Given the nature of the role, you’ll need outstanding verbal and written communication skills along with a desire to work in a sales-based role and the ambition to succeed. You’ll also need a UK driving licence as there will be occasional travel to clients’ premises.

SALES DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE - ASSET FINANCE
£25000 Commission (Guaranteed for the first 6 Months). Benefits
Tamworth, Staffordshire
Commutable via public transport or car from Birmingham, Tamworth, Polesworth, Dordon, Atherstone, Nuneaton, Hartshill, Lichfield, Fazeley, Measham, Kingsbury, Coleshill, Curdworth, Sutton Coldfield
When you browse job sites looking for sales roles, how many have you seen that offer a career instead of simply a job?
Probably not many.
Sales can be pretty transactional and cut-throat. You can be the superstar one month and then face the sack a month later. But companies like that don't understand that sales is a skill people learn over time. Sadly, they don't usually allow people the time to develop those skills properly.
But our client takes a different view. They want to take intelligent, ambitious people with a burning desire to work in sales and train them to succeed for the long term.
They're a very well-established leading and asset finance business providing funding for small businesses. Typically, their customers work in manufacturing, construction, and transport. And they usually need to raise up to £50k to buy new machinery or equipment for their business.
So, that's what our client does and what they'll teach you to do through their career development programme. They've been in business for many years and have seen great success with their training. Ultimately, they want you to become an awesome salesperson and progress through their business.
As for you, our client is looking for someone with a natural sales aptitude. Maybe you've left school after GCSEs and started working in customer service or sales or insurance, call centre or telesales or retail or you just completed you're A-levels or graduated from university? Whatever your situation, you'll need to be a confident communicator and capable of speaking well over the phone. Plus, you'll need a decent understanding of maths as you'll be dealing with financial quotes and proposals.
They can teach you everything else you'll need to succeed, but you'll have to supply the attitude, desire, and work ethic. In return our client will guarantee your commission for the first six months and also in your first year they will not set any sales targets as they want you to focus on developing your sales and customer account relationship skills.
So, if you're serious about building a successful career in sales, please send your CV quoting reference LX 1092675 or call us on 44 (0)1905 381 320.

They're a well-established company manufacturing large GRP fabrications globally for use in industrial and commercial settings. Bucking the trend, they thrived during the Covid pandemic and have an extensive R & D and investment programme underway.
So, they have significant plans to evolve the company and are currently in a transitional phase.
This is where you come in.
