In their own words

“I have worked with Roheela and Martin Veasey Talent Solutions for 15 years now. Their responsiveness and customer service has been excellent, but more importantly their understanding and interpretation of my requirements has been paramount while they search the markets and find the right fit staff for my business needs. Over the past ten years my staff requirements have changed significantly from a UK-based need to a global one spanning 11 countries. All roles have to speak English, but all roles also need to be local nationals which is not easy to achieve, especially when you are recruiting in Latin America, South Africa, Russia, Japan, China, Singapore and Korea. Another significant impact of working with Roheela and Martin Veasey Talent Solutions is their ability to find good calibre people quickly and only present the best ones, which in turn allows me and my local teams to make good use of our time.”

Are you a Site Manufacturing Director looking for your next interim contract?

Our client is a pharmaceutical batch manufacturer and needs your skills to oversee their operations until a permanent recruit is appointed.

Over the past twelve months, they have made changes to their site leadership team and invested heavily in new, industry-leading machinery. They are keen to develop their production processes to achieve the levels of output and quality standards their customers require.

The operational staff are enthusiastic but need guidance in lean/CI techniques to improve their performance. As such, you'll need to take a hands-on approach to training, mentoring, and developing those teams.

Given the nature of their products, quality is paramount. Indeed, you'll be working closely with their new Quality Director to help them hit their production targets while improving product quality and the quality culture of the company.

Our client envisages you will be degree qualified in an engineering discipline and your background will include GMP within a batch manufacturing, pharmaceutical environment. They feel their operational teams will respond well to a hands-on, visible leader who is ever-present and taking an active role in their training, mentoring, and daily problem-solving. As such, you'll probably have a collaborative style and will be comfortable engaging with all levels of the business.

Some manufacturing companies are already at an enviable level of operation. They're working to six sigma levels of quality and are focusing on squeezing small percentages out of all their operations.

Conversely, other businesses aren't at that level but have a dogged determination to get there. Our client is one of those businesses and needs your skills and background to help them create a refined manufacturing operation.

As a Manufacturing Director with significant experience of working in pharmaceutical manufacturing, you'll know what that journey entails. It's one with many challenges to overcome, but you'll be able to fall back on your previous successes to create a roadmap then implement it across the organisations.

The company has gone through a significant period of change with new leaders and heavy investment in state-of-the-art machinery to provide the best platform for growth. They now need a site manufacturing director to lead the new culture, develop the teams' skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing, CI, and six sigma tools and techniques.
