This is an interesting and broad ranging procurement support role focused on the enhancement of data, processes, project delivery and oversight relating to supplier relationship management, compliance, governance, and risk management. You will report to a Procurement Governance Manager and will work closely with a pan European procurement and category management team within a SAP P2P environment.
The Role:
As Procurement Compliance and Governance Administrator you will support procurement governance activities ensuring that accurate and reliable data is maintained in relation to supplier performance to mitigate supply chain risks. You will predominantly utilise SAP.
Specifically, you will:
• Ensure that supplier data within SAP and other systems is accurate and up to date and that management information on supplier risk and performance is available
• Make supplier risk management data available for procurement dashboard reporting to support category planning and strategic sourcing events
• Maintain system capabilities to automate supplier risk performance management becoming an expert user of supplier risk management tools to ensure maximum value is gained from systems available to the procurement and category teams
• Track and manage procurement audit actions and report progress to the procurement leadership team
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre, ideally university degree educated, highly numerate and analytical. Part or full CIPS or a desire to study would be highly advantageous. You will already be working in a similar, ideally procurement related, supplier performance analysis, compliance and data support role and will be seeking your next career move.
This experience must have been gained within a complex, matrix, highly regulated and SAP environment ideally supporting procurement, procurement to pay/P2P and supply chain functions. You will have a strong grasp of data standards and the techniques required to understand and drive performance. You will possess strong systems and data analysis skills. Your track record may include a contribution to systems enhancement and functionality to assist with supplier management, compliance, and performance reporting. You will be confident in engaging with procurement and other cross functional colleagues. The Role:
As Procurement Insights, Analytics and Data Administrator you will centrally support the delivery of high-quality performance management data and analytics to the procurement and category management teams ensuring that SAP and other systems are accurately populated for data extraction, analysis and insight development. Your work will play a key contributory role in supporting the delivery of strategic sourcing activities and category planning capabilities. You will report to a Global Insights, Analytics and Data Controller.
There are two elements to this role:
• Fact based decision making is a critical component of procurement management. You will assist the Global Insights, Analytics and Data Controller to drive improvement and expansion of data maintenance and integrity within procurement systems. You will facilitate the standardisation of the application of systems and data extraction globally in this central support role. You will be involved in testing of changes, administration of system data whilst offering support to procurement in the development of accurate and timely insights.
• As good data starts with strategic sourcing activities, you will work closely with Category Managers, Category Buyers and Senior Buyers in the development of Request for Tender documentation ensuring accurate data during initial engagements with suppliers through to contract award information.

Our client is long established and pivotal player within the energy and utilities supply chain and utilises world leading technology at its plants in Europe. As a result of continued growth and major projects our client is looking for Senior Buyer for its CAPEX, Engineering, Construction and Projects function.
The focus of the role is the leadership of cross functional teams on major sourcing projects, developing and executing sourcing strategies; the tender and negotiation process; supplier selection, drafting, award and execution of contracts; commercial management of suppliers post contract management of capital investments and infrastructure projects and the delivery of strategic change and operational efficiency. Our client is seeking graduate calibre, MCIPS qualified Construction and Engineering Projects specialists ideally with NEC3 knowledge and experience (although training will be provided).
The Role:
• To support the EPC Procurement Manager/ Engineering, Construction and Projects Team in the execution of both local and global strategies.
• To work with relevant customers/stakeholders and procurement colleagues in the development and execution of customer aligned and fully integrated category plan(s) for Engineering, Construction and Projects, and taking the commercial lead in the sourcing, selection and management of suppliers for all associated projects.
• As a member of a global procurement and category team actively contribute to the development and execution of the category plan and associated projects in order to drive maximum value from the supply chain and the dissemination of best practice.
• To actively contribute to the development of the Category Plan such that the Team is clear on the vision, strategy and implementation process.

• Experience gained within a multinational, corporate and regulated environment such as utilities, aerospace, pharmaceutical, electronics, engineering, capital intensive industry, construction, public sector OJEU environments etc.
• At least four years’ procurement experience including minimum two years in a category manager or senior buyer role within the CAPEX, Engineering, Construction Projects category area.
• NEC3 or similar experience and knowledge advantageous.
• An understanding of category management principles and a working knowledge of SAP processes and functionality across the procurement process and integration with other functions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, persuasion and influencing including business case development and presentation experience.
• Excellent track record of supplier management and development including implementation of supplier management programmes with key suppliers.
• Experience of advising and leading on bid evaluation approach in support of supplier selection.
• Experience of development and execution of project procurement strategies within the context of construction and engineering projects.

This role is a high profile one, taking the lead in the further development and optimisation of multi –site logistics operations for one of Thailand’s largest grocery retailers.
As an experienced Grocery Logistics Distribution Centre Operations/General Manager/Operations Director, ideally with both 3PL and in-house experience, you will work closely with the client and will take the strategic and operational lead for multiple, semi-automated DC’s in the Bangkok area. You will be responsible for strategic growth, operational development and performance covering both warehousing and transport logistics operations. You will also be responsible for delivering an operational excellence programme across the account. You will also continue to engage and develop an excellent commercial key account focused, client relationship at VP level. The focus will be on the further development and growth of the business, against a stringent SLA and challenging KPI’s. You will lead, coach and develop your team of DC General Managers to create a best in class and high performing country operation.
To succeed in this role, you will be university degree educated, and will perhaps have benefitted from an in-depth management development programme either with a large 3PL or a food/grocery retailer. This will have encompassed a series of operational leadership roles covering both warehousing and transport (including acquisition of a CPC) interspersed with project work culminating in your current or most recent senior operational role, running either one or several large scale multi temperature FMCG retail NDCs or RDCs employing at least 900-1000 + staff, as a DC GM/Regional Manager or Director.
Your 3PL experience will have included extensive contract account management and client stakeholder engagement. Either in house or within a 3PL you will have built upon your project management and continuous improvement skills to reduce costs and increase efficiencies. You may already have been involved in new site openings, through to large scale physical and systems redesigns. This will all have been achieved whilst ensuring that operations remain fully functional delivering high levels of accuracy and on time delivery within a retail DC.
You will be strategic and commercially minded, with experience of shaping strategic plans and implementing cost saving initiatives in complex, large retail FMCG operations. You will possess a track record of operational excellence focused on large multi-site manual and semi-automated warehousing and logistics operations utilising lean CI. You will be experienced in coaching and leading teams through numerous periods of change and growth, producing high performing teams. You will be ambitious, with a track record of successful performance improvement and results delivery, as you build your expertise in this exciting role, to eventually take on a senior executive leadership role at VP level in a developing international market.
The ideal applicant will be university degree educated perhaps in logistics or business or engineering.
