As a result of growth, our client, a leading manufacturer of industrial products is seeking an ambitious part qualified or fully qualified AAT level 4 or part or fully qualified CIMA Finance & Accounts Assistant to work closely with their Finance Manager. You will also business partner with the site managerial and leadership team.
You will report to the Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing monthly management accounts including VAT returns, stock reconciliation and other financial reports including budgets
* Presenting reports to senior management to assist with decision making.
* Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures identifying opportunities to continuously improve.
* Controlling income and expenditure ensuring expenditure is in line with budgets.
* Communicating at all levels within the organisation, with the capability to present financial information to non-finance colleagues and teams.
* Assist and support with the annual financial audit and external audits.
Ideally, you will currently be working within a private sector, ideally manufacturing organisation in a professional Finance Department. You will be proficient in the use of SAP or Xero or similar packages.
The ideal candidate for this position must part/fully qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA/AAT qualification, or a Finance & Accounting Degree combined with proven finance assistant and accountancy experience. Excellent attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are vital for this role. You will be an advanced user of Excel.
