DOCUMENTARY (IMPORT/EXPORT) COORDINATOR - LONDON

Do you crave variety in your job? Are you finding yourself doing the same routine tasks and wishing your logistics/co-ordination skills were being challenged?

How would you like to be a part of a $10bn company that moves everything from pallets of sugar to large, out-of-gauge machinery around the world, and has a global network of suppliers to provide services for all aspects of international trading?

Our client is a UK-based division of that sizeable multi-national company. It needs someone with your logistics and documentary co-ordination experience to support and assist the Documentary Operations Team to ensure all their contracts are executed in an efficient and timely manner. Our client's extensive portfolio of products includes steel materials, chemicals, oils, and large machinery.

Working from their North-West London facility, you'll ensure all contract files are received from the Trading Team in good order, you'll ensure all documentary and shipping instructions are issued on time - following the relevant Incoterm - and you'll co-ordinate with customers and suppliers worldwide to ensure that goods are expedited and shipped on time and in the correct manner.

Out client works with major shipping lines in the Far East, Asia, Middle East, and NW Europe routes, so you'll need to be someone who understands documentary requirements for different countries, including Legalisation/Certification/Conformity certificates. You will need to be able to provide these documents on time, including Invoices, Bills of Landing, Certificates of Origin, Insurance Certificates, Packing Lists and Certificates of Analysis.

Our client envisages you will have 2-3 years' experience in commodities, with the ability to understand Contracts and Incoterms. Experience with SAP would be ideal but not essential.
