They are a well-established manufacturer and distributor of innovative and life changing products. Part of a pan European group they have a number of manufacturing sites across Europe and as part of a transformational change programme to support growth, they are now looking for a CFO/Chief Financial Officer to lead the team at their main manufacturing site in Germany.
As an experienced CFO/Chief Financial Officer, you'll already understand the detail of this role. In summary, you'll be leading a team of 10 finance and accounting professionals, managing the operational day-to-day financial transactions, KPIs, cash flow planning and forecasting through monthly reports and budgets that can be presented to the senior stakeholders including the MD, Commercial Sales Director, Supply Chain Director and Manufacturing Director. Senior management have also identified potential high-performing individuals in the finance team who they would like you to develop and mentor. Treasury accounting and related aspects will be covered at Group level, so this is very much an operational CFO/Chief Financial Officer role.
You will be university degree educated in business administration, accounting or (financial) controlling and an experienced Financial Director/CFO/Chief Financial Officer. You will have relevant finance management experience gained within a European/global matrix manufacturing organisation. Your experience will include drawing up balance sheets in HGB and IFRS and SAP FI/CO. Understanding of German GAAP useful. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, Power BI.
As for you, our client envisages you will be a German national with excellent English language skills. You'll be a confident presenter, as part of your role will be to deliver financial reports to the Southern European head office senior team.

Jouw takenpakket
Stel je voor dat je de blauwdruk ontwerpt voor de toekomstige magazijnoperaties van onze klant in heel Europa. Van het conceptualiseren van efficiënte indelingen en flows tot het implementeren van ultramoderne systemen: jij staat aan het hoofd van dit baanbrekende initiatief. In eerste instantie zal je met een klein team de activiteiten uitbreiden om aan de stijgende vraag te kunnen voldoen, om uiteindelijk leiding te geven aan een team van wel 15 logistieke supersterren.
Als manager magazijnoperaties ontwikkel je een naadloze procedure in de hele toeleveringsketen. Je optimaliseert elke stap; van voorraadbeheer, orderpicking, kitting en orderverwerking tot verzending. Met een scherpe focus op klantenservice zorg jij ervoor dat bestellingen snel worden verzonden voor bezorging op de volgende dag, en dat over heel Europa.

Are you a skilled Management Accountant ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a talented individual with indepth experience of German GAAP and taxation to join our client's team at their cutting-edge logistics and supply chain facility in the lower Rhine region in Germany.
The Role:
As the Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of the operation, reporting directly to the General Manager and Commercial Finance Manager.
You will oversee financial management and reporting activities at the facility. This includes preparing and analysing financial reports, such as daily flash reports, month-end reports, and KPI reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial forecasts to support resource planning and operational decision-making.
Collaboration with the General Manager is essential to align financial strategies with operational goals and objectives. You will also assist in budget preparation and monitoring, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, particularly in German tax law.
