Our client is a market leader within the industrial products sector to the B2B sector via various routes to market from merchant to specification sales.
As a result of continuing growth, our client has created a new role as Business Unit Operational Lead. Specifically, you will manage several production processing, packing and fulfilment operational sites. You will be responsible for site leadership, coaching and development, health and safety, site maintenance, turnover, budgets and P & L and most importantly customer order fulfilment, ensuring excellent on time in full customer service within a fast-moving environment. Technical knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance technology and methods will be integral to credibility and success in this role.
You will be highly experienced in driving a continuous improvement culture, focused on process and performance improvement against stringent KPI's across all aspects of the manufacturing, production, processing, packing and fulfilment operations. The focus will be on excellent levels of safety, availability, production output and quality. You may be an experienced lean or continuous improvement champion, including 5S.
You will work closely with cross functional colleagues in national accounts, technical, quality, logistics and fulfilment. You will be an excellent people developer with a track record of high employee engagement, successful talent and resource planning and team building to deliver excellent results within your region.
Currently you will be either managing a large single site manufacturing/production facility with several operational units or multiple regional or national sites.
You will possess excellent engineering and operational knowledge and the organisational and personal skills required to motivate and inspire regionally based site production managers.
Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving skills and experience of projects and budgetary management including the CAPEX business case approval process will be prerequisites to success. You will be familiar with working collaboratively across a national industrial products business. Most importantly you will possess the confidence to communicate, lead and sustain change utilising a positive coaching style.
Applicants will be of graduate calibre ideally with engineering qualifications and evidence of continuous professional development in business leadership and management. In-depth engineering and operational exposure will be critical to success.

We have been retained by this client, part of a European group that manufactures and assembles high quality architectural and structural glazing products. Their products are used in major construction projects large and small in the UK and overseas including shopping centres, airports, supermarkets, railway stations, hospitals, schools, offices, factories, swimming pools, public buildings etc. The product range consists of both standard items and also architect specified bespoke designs.
Working closely with European design colleagues, the Design Engineer will design bespoke glazing products from design briefs.

This an excellent opportunity to join the plant electrical maintenance team of this division of a multinational company and play a key part in delivering production targets within a medium/heavy factory process operation. The focus is on maintenance, inspections, and planned maintenance of all electrical, automation and process control equipment. This includes instrumentation, PLC's, inverter drives, DCS/SCADA, LV and HV motors, switchgear and control gear, AC and DC, variable speed drives, and specialised control panels. We are currently seeking a time served apprentice Electrician/Electrical Process Control Craftsperson.
You will perform inspections and maintenance, responding in a timely manner to breakdown repairs with a keen eye to continuous improvement and to high standards in line with safety, quality and environmental targets. You will also represent the department on site working committees where required.
