I first discovered the Martin Veasey Talent Solutions team over 20 years ago when looking to recruit and build a new team to run a UK logistics operation for a construction materials manufacturer. Roheela Khan and Martin Veasey helped me source and build a fantastic team that went on to win multiple industry awards. Later the team transitioned into the world of a global construction materials plc upon acquisition, and Roheela helped to expand the team to include supply chain professionals and strategy and development analysts and directors.

I decided to move into the world of Interim Management and for the last 15 years, Roheela and the team have been my go to recruiter for Operational, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Business Development roles across multiple assignments and businesses including a global telecommunications company with the recruitment of a multi country a European Sales Team; an electrical manufacturer and distributor with numerous roles across multiple functions including a China Country Manager and recently at a renewable energies business, with a number of key interim and permanent roles in logistics and operations, including Project and Operational Managers, Talent Acquisition Partners and Operational Improvement/Process Optimisation specialists.

I have come to trust Roheela and the team to take the time to really understand the role, often with site visits, to define scope and size of the role, and then advise with the specification of person likely to fit the role. They then fully research the candidate market, source, and attract candidates, interview and evaluate them and then present a very short list of excellent, high calibre candidates, fully researched, briefed, and prepared.

Often in today’s fast-moving world, staffing requirements can be very urgent, especially as an Executive Interim building a team to get immediate traction on a transformation; Roheela and the team are extremely responsive and certainly happy to work fast and flexibly to present candidates in days rather than weeks, whether they by Interims or Permanent staff.

Finally, often there needs to be an element of coaching the candidate and client (me!) to get the successful placement of over the line, Roheela works hard ensure this happens, facilitating the conversation and clarifying questions and then supporting through the onboarding of the new employee.
