Role Responsibilities
Respond to inbound sales enquiries by phone and email from trade and retail customers
Understand customer requirements, prepare accurate quotations, and follow up proactively
Help implement new or improve current CRM system to log interactions, manage your pipeline, and maintain customer records
Re-engage lapsed or dormant accounts to uncover new opportunities
Upsell and cross-sell relevant products and services to drive average order value
Work closely with fulfilment and production teams to ensure lead times and expectations are met
Support continuous improvement by providing customer feedback and trend insights
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in internal sales, telesales, or account management
Background in construction products, interiors, DIY, trade counters, or custom manufacturing is desirable
Strong communication skills - confident on the phone and by email
High attention to detail - particularly when preparing quotations
CRM experience essential ()
Organised, methodical, and commercially aware
The Package
Salary: £33-35000 (depending on experience)
Commission: 5-10% performance-based scheme
On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £45,000
