Salary: c£60,000 Excellent Benefits

Location: Enfield, North London

This Accountancy Practice provides its clients with everything from T-accounts to Tax and Annual Accounts to Audits. Due to significant growth it has created this new position. And with further growth planned of 60% this role would suit an ambitious person seeking career development and progression.

As a Senior Accountant Manager you will be responsible for managing everything from accounts to corporation tax. And will be the first point of contact for your portfolio of clients. But paramount to any service sector organisation is service excellence.

The role:

In this role as Senior Accountant Manager you will own a portfolio of clients and oversee a breadth of responsibilities. Ranging from the preparation of annual accounts, corporate tax, VAT, management accounts and projects.

Although you will report directly to the Audit Partner which provides an opportunity to learn, grow and develop. You will be responsible for the first point of contact for your client base.

Your portfolio of clients will be predominately SME businesses and could range from chains of fish and chip shops to chains of hotels. These clients will typically have sales turnover of £3m and gross assets of £2m.

Repeat business is extremely strong and given their growth projections to grow from a £5m business to £8m this opportunity will provide a natural opportunity for career progression.

This company is passionate about training, learning and development. So whilst they do require certain skills and experience (please see below) they are willing to coach the successful candidates and provide on the job development opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

● A Qualified Chartered Accountant ICAEW or ACCA.

● Experience working within a busy public practice.

● Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP

● Knowledge of Iris Accounts Production, VT and Xero.

● Experience in Tax Post Brexit.
