About the Opportunity

Join an exciting new European operation at the forefront of vehicle safety and electronics. This is a rare opportunity to be part of the founding team at a brand-new warehouse and operational hub in Rotterdam, serving customers across mainland Europe.

We’re looking for a hands-on, curious, and proactive Quality Engineer to take ownership of product quality, continuous improvement, and warranty analysis within this innovative, service-led environment. You’ll work in a state-of-the-art facility located in the Port of Rotterdam, equipped for fast-moving fulfilment, with quality, efficiency, and reliability at its core.

This is not a routine QA role. You’ll be working with cutting-edge automotive safety electronics, liaising with global supply chains, and ensuring exceptional quality outcomes for customers across the EU.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead product inspections for inbound goods and returned items at the warehouse

• Assess and validate warranty claims, troubleshoot faults, and communicate findings clearly

• Use automotive quality tools to drive continuous improvement across products and processes

• Liaise with global suppliers and internal teams to resolve product issues quickly and effectively

• Support and conduct internal audits and contribute to quality system development

• Maintain and report on warranty databases, inspection records, and non-conformance logs

• Provide feedback to engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure long-term product performance

• Be a visible quality champion in a growing operation — proactively raising standards and helping define best practices

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• 3+ years in a quality, testing or technical engineering role within automotive, electronics, or similar regulated sectors (e.g., aerospace, medical, defence)

• Internal Auditor qualification (e.g., ISO9001)

• Strong analytical and diagnostic mindset — comfortable investigating faults in electronic products

• Able to manage warranty inspections and collaborate cross-functionally

• Fluent in English, written and spoken

• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and report writing

Desirable:

• Six Sigma Green Belt (with practical case study examples)

• Experience with Far East supplier quality or managing returns processes

• Familiarity with IATF16949 or working in an OEM / Tier 1 automotive environment

• Experience with ISO audit preparation or audit coordination

• Dutch or other European languages

• Experience working in a start-up or scale-up warehouse or operational setting

Why Join Us?

• Be part of a brand-new European HQ and warehouse — shape processes from day one

• Work on industry-leading technology that protects lives and reduces vehicle accidents

• Collaborate with global supply partners, regional offices, and engineering specialists

• Join a tight-knit, high-performing team in a role with autonomy and purpose

• Enjoy a diverse, multinational working environment

• Career progression within a growing, sustainable business

What’s on Offer

• Competitive salary of €45,000 per annum

• Statutory 13th-month bonus (subject to confirmation)

• Dutch pension scheme

• Modern workspace in Rotterdam’s logistics heartland

• Flexible start dates to accommodate notice periods

• Strong onboarding and training support

• Opportunity to grow with the business as the operation scales
