Our client is a manufacturer of flexible packaging and film packaging solutions. It operates several state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities globally. It specialises in BOPET and PET film production supplying converters and manufacturers across a range of fast-moving industry sectors, on a Just in Time basis.
Our client is now seeking a high calibre, university degree educated engineering professional for the role Deputy Head of Production for their BOPET/PET plant in Russia. You will report to a Site General Director and career progressions are excellent within this organisation. The site employs a multi-cultural workforce of c150 and production capacity of c32000 tonnes per annum.
The Role:
As Deputy Head of Production, you will be responsible for Production Planning and Control; Quality Control; Health and Safety and Environmental Standards; Product Development and Process Control and Optimisation; Supply Chain Management and Inventory Control; Waste Management and Predictive and Planned Maintenance.
The Ideal Candidate:
- University degree educated in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or similar. A Masters level qualification or Post Graduate Diploma in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Strategy would be highly advantageous.
- Fluent in English. Russian language skills would be advantageous.
- Significant track record of production/manufacturing management experience gained within flexible packaging, carton, paper or foil manufacturing sector.
- Experience of BOPET (Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate), Cast Polypropylene (CPP) films and BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) films is a prerequisite.
- We are unable to consider candidates who do not have recent experience of BOPET, BOPP, CPP gained within at least the last five years ideally within a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
- You will be a strategic, analytical and innovative thinker and excellent problem solver used to deploying lean six sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- You will be familiar with working to stringent production and quality targets in order to meet demanding customer expectations.
- Financially astute you will possess excellent operational and budgetary planning and cost control skills.
- You will be an inspirational and influential leader, with a track record of managing multi-cultural work forces comprising employees from Russia, Eastern Europe, Indian Sub-Continent, taking an interest in their welfare and wellbeing, their health and safety, developing and motivating them to achieve exceptional operational targets and standards.
- You will be a champion of best in class health and safety and environmental standards empowering and leading your teams to take ownership for health and safety within the operation.
- Innovative and creative you will play a critical role in relation to new product development in response to customer requirements.

As an experienced CFO/Chief Financial Officer, you'll already understand the detail of this role. In summary, you'll be leading a team of 10 finance and accounting professionals, managing the operational day-to-day financial transactions, KPIs, cash flow planning and forecasting through monthly reports and budgets that can be presented to the senior stakeholders including the MD, Commercial Sales Director, Supply Chain Director and Manufacturing Director. Senior management have also identified potential high-performing individuals in the finance team who they would like you to develop and mentor. Treasury accounting and related aspects will be covered at Group level, so this is very much an operational CFO/Chief Financial Officer role.
You will be university degree educated in business administration, accounting or (financial) controlling and an experienced Financial Director/CFO/Chief Financial Officer. You will have relevant finance management experience gained within a European/global matrix manufacturing organisation. Your experience will include drawing up balance sheets in HGB and IFRS and SAP FI/CO. Understanding of German GAAP useful. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, Power BI.
As for you, our client envisages you will be a German national with excellent English language skills. You'll be a confident presenter, as part of your role will be to deliver financial reports to the Southern European head office senior team.

Our client is a fast growing and innovative manufacturing organisation supplying its world class products globally and making a real difference to people's lives. It is part of a Pan European group. They are now seeking a highly experienced HR Director with at least ten years HR generalist experience including management of a HR business partnering team in a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
Working closely with the Senior Executive team, you'll be implementing the group strategy at the local country level in Germany. As such, you'll need to be fluent in English and German and have the gravitas and strong character to constructively challenge, coach, engage and influence the leadership team. Fluency in Spanish would be highly advantageous too.
As an experienced HR Director, you'll have the knowledge and background to lead the changes required because of dramatic growth and the launch of innovative new products, working closely with the Works Council in a unionised environment to transform the business.
Visibility will be critical to building the strong relationships you will need to succeed in this role, as our client wants you to continually develop and improve HR best practices including talent acquisition and succession planning strategies to become an employer of choice in order to attract the highest quality STEM talent from graduates to senior managers and leaders. As a key figure in the country executive team, you will work closely with the directors, senior managers, line managers and staff to educate, coach and support the correct application and continuous development of HR and company policies.
As for your background, our client anticipates that you will have a degree in a HR discipline and be a member of a recognised professional HR body. In addition, you'll have led transformation and growth projects in your previous roles and can demonstrate resilience, strength of character, and a results-oriented mindset to your work. You will be a HR generalist and business partner already operating at Head of HR/HR Director level. This experience will have been gained, ideally within a multinational, matrix, and unionised environment within a highly successful commercial manufacturing and supply chain environment.

Are you an experienced B2B and B2C, Strategic Digital Marketing Manager currently working within the European travel and aviation sector? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role supporting commercial teams in Germany, France and Italy?
They now require a strategic digital marketing specialist to become their European Marketing Manager, based in Germany, to continue to support their ambitious commercial growth plans across Europe.
Your primary focus will be increasing lead volume and achieving set revenue targets through the deployment of various strategies. You will work closely with Commercial Sales teams across Germany, France, and Italy to ensure that your digital marketing strategies are driving traffic to the website, to the sales team and most importantly raising brand awareness about our client's brand and solutions to the travel and aviation sector.
To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record of linking marketing to ROI numbers and devising and adapting digital marketing strategies using analytical and qualitative information. You will need to be able to actively chase leads through marketing, from content creation to conversion rate optimisation and ultimately to bottom lines sales.
One of the key responsibilities of this role is managing relationships with external agencies to get the most out of analytics and reports. You will be responsible for digging into reports to determine which campaigns are working and which are not converting into leads. As such, you'll work closely with the commercial sales team to optimise the entire process. Therefore, you must have experience working with analytics and (ideally) be comfortable using Salesforce Cloud for email marketing.
Our client has invested heavily in PPC and affiliate marketing, so experience developing new affiliate campaigns and creating campaign content and structure will be essential.
This role will also involve creating and arranging for content creation, including market analysis for each country, and working closely with the sales team to understand the stages of the B2B and B2C client journey. As such, you must have experience in performance marketing and growth marketing, particularly in creating promotional and educational content for non-mainstream products tailored to different audiences in different countries.
In addition, experience of PR either directly or with the support of a specialist PR agency will be critical to success, ensuring that our client's product is featured in the most popular and relevant magazines and media to raise brand awareness amongst its target demographic and audience.
Experience of event marketing in relation to travel and aviation industry exhibitions and conferences will be incredibly useful.
This role will require someone who can be both strategic and also hands on as you will be joining a small, close knit and friendly pan European team within a business experiencing dynamic growth.
