Our client is one of the world’s most successful and innovative creators of consumer technology.

As a result of continued unprecedented growth our client is now seeking a university degree educated EMEIA Transport Management System Analyst to support the management of its outbound transportation management system (TMS) which determines carrier selection from our clients EMEIA distribution centres for the transportation of our client’s very fast-moving product which can be ordered via a multitude of channels.

The Role:

  • The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day maintenance of (TMS)Transport Management System to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • This role is responsible for long-term strategy, enhancement guidance, implementation, testing, and innovation within our client’s Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with other global operations teams to develop best practices and drive change.
  • This role works closely with EMEIA Outbound & Inbound Transportation teams, our client’s Distribution Centres (Operations & IT), Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Project Management & SAP teams, as well as external service providers.
  • The role presents an opportunity for a person to work in a progressive and dynamic environment.

The Ideal Applicant:

  • University degree educated in Engineering, Maths, Business or Computer Science or similar subjects.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to consume data, find trends, and report across multiple teams.
  • At least 5 years analytical experience gained within a fast moving consumer goods environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure while achieving desired results
  • Documentation skills and experience with business process flow diagramming would be desirable
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills • Ability to build effective relationships quickly
  • Self-motivated individual able to function effectively when working independently or in a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to analyse and resolve complex problems in a structured and logical manner
  • Ability to generate new and innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Knowledge of supply chain/logistics concepts and practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners
  • Strong Project Management Skills, along with UAT/User Acceptance Testing support and development
  • Knowledge of basic SAP transactions for viewing sales orders / deliveries, updating tables or other SAP experience would be desirable.
